Winston
Web World, Inc. was, initially, the
collaboration of three businessmen, a Real Estate Broker/Accountant,
a computer based Draftsman for an equipment manufacturing company
and a Real Estate Agent. Each of the founders was proficient in
the use of computers and knowledgeable in the application of
computer software. The fundamental idea was to provide Web design
services for local businesses, churches of all denominations,
politicians and their political campaigns, families and
individuals. We quickly recognized the necessity of being able to
provide such services as hosting, domain registration, templates and
various other online products for our friends and local business
owners that wanted to design their own sites. Winston Web World,
Inc. became resellers for, or associated with, some of the best, and
in some cases the largest, domain registrars, hosting providers and
template designers, anywhere.
One of the main
components of Web design is the insertion of personal photos,
clipart, pictures of inventory and equipment; therefore, Winston Web
World purchased numerous types of digital photo and digital scanning
equipment. All too soon; after the start of our operations, the
Mother of one of our organizers passed away. As a memorial to his
Mother, and gift to his Dad, this Web designer decided to convert,
into digital format, and burn onto a DVD the photos of his Mother,
starting at her early childhood and continuing until her death. The number of
request for copies of the memorial DVD was astonishing. As with
most things; the more requests that we received for copies of the
memorial, the more request we received for other types of
conversions.
Due to continued growth
and market expansion; Winston Web World, Inc. now offers a full line
of digital conversions including, but not limited to conversion and
transfer of photos, 8mm Movies, Super 8mm Movies, 16mm Movies,
35mm/120 Slides,
120/220 Film (Negatives), 16mm Film (Negatives) and 35mm Film
(Negatives), VHS tapes, conventional VHSc camcorder tapes, Hi 8

Winston Web World
offers local wedding photography, sports photography and commercial still image photography.
Our services range from portrait quality wedding photography on the
high end to low resolution capture for internet use. While we
say that these services are "local"; we have now booked wedding
photography as much as a year in advance and as far away as Panama
City Beach, Florida. Additionally, we have engagements for
commercial photography throughout the Florida panhandle.
Winston Web World’s
digital video productions are now one of our most joyous
accomplishments. We capture video images via broadcast quality cameras/camcorders for
the capture of the same events as with the still image photography
in addition to digital commercials, political campaign advertisements
and documentaries.
